Inter Miami Begin Preseason Tour with a Scoreless Draw

Inter Miami CF started their highly anticipated seven-game preseason tour with a goalless draw against El Salvador's national team on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
The match at the Estadio Cuscatlán in San Salvador served as a low-key start to Inter Miami's much-publicized preseason tour. Despite the lack of goals, the match provided an opportunity for both teams to assess their readiness for the upcoming season.
Inter Miami coach Phil Neville was pleased with his team's performance, saying: "I thought we played well in the first half, created some good chances, and were unfortunate not to score. In the second half, I made a lot of changes, and we lost a bit of our rhythm, but overall I'm happy with what I saw."
Inter Miami will continue their preseason tour with a match against FAS of El Salvador on Friday, January 19, before heading to the Dominican Republic and Mexico for further matches.
